All About Woodmont (and us)

We're entering our 16th season hosting Festival visitors. We enjoy meeting and hosting visitors in our uniquely-decorated century home. We look forward to making your Stratford experience truly memorable.
You are welcome to relax on the front porch, sip an espresso or tea on the back deck, or unwind in the peaceful living room and read the paper or one of our literary, Canadian, or US magazines. For your entertainment we have a unique patio-size chess board in the back garden. As former Stratford Shakespeare Festival musicians and Fanfare players we have an extensive and eclectic CD collection available for your listening pleasure. If you need to brush up on your lines before seeing a performance we have facsimiles of Shakespeare plays as well as a number of complete works. Our Golden Retriever, MacDuff, and Roland (he's half Great Pyrennes) will say hello and accept a pat.

OUR ROOMS
Each of our four uniquely-designed guest rooms has an ensuite bathroom, a comfy queen or king bed, down pillows and duvets.
The Argentina Room - decorated with mementos of our visit to our son in Argentina. Queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom.
The Paris Room - cozy comfort with a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom.

The Garden Room overlooks our garden (duh!) and provides queen-size comfort and, of course, an ensuite bathroom.
The Grand Room gives you a king-size bed, seating area and a unique shower (you'll feel that you are among the trees) and an ensuite two-piece bathroom.
